My name is Martin, I'm a Danish cryptographer and IT security specialist living and working in Copenhagen. I work for Datatilsynet – the Danish Data Protection Agency – on the technical aspects of data privacy, especially in relation to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
I hold a PhD in cryptography from the Technical University of Denmark under the supervision of Prof. Christian Rechberger and Prof. Lars R. Knudsen. The topic of my dissertation was design and analysis of symmetric primitives, focusing primarily on block cipher analysis, implementation and authenticated encryption schemes.
